A Vision in Action

30 will be HAUTE!

Happy New Year!

2010 is here and I am so blessed to have made it this far. Everyone is SO excited about the new year, new decade, and I’m definitely one of them.

In honor of the new year, I mentioned that I was going to create a Vision Board to help me focus on all of the things I want to accomplish this year. Well, it’s MADE. I finally finished it on Sunday night, and I’m quite pleased. It’s hanging on my wall in my bedroom and it’s good to see it daily. It’s been a good reminder & I hope it continues to be.

Instead of just posting pictures of the board, I did a video using my new Flip Camera. It takes your through a tour of my board & it’s sections. I hope you enjoy exploring my board & hearing me ramble on LOL.

I love that you took the time to do this. I made vision boards with my sisters a couple of months ago and have been thinking about the power of them a lot since. Your explanation of why you chose the images and text you chose was really helpful and insightful to me. Thanks so much for the encouragement I feel from hearing about your vision. It makes me feel more commitment to my own. You are a wise woman and I know your 30th year is going to be amazing.

Kathy, first of all thanks for stopping by & commenting!

I'm usually not all new-agey, but so many people have had success with their vision boards that i HAD to give it a shot. I know it's not magic, but it's a great reminder to "just keep swimming," as Dory from "Nemo" says. I am shocked you called me wise *blush*, but I'm glad you found some encouragement in my post. That's what is so powerful. We MUST encourage/support each other in order to be successful. I've tried going at it alone, and I usually fail. So, new year, new methods!

    Don't be a stranger!
  • I like "it's a time of incredible growth and change". I agree that every day provides an opportunity for that, it's what we do with those opportunities. I have to remind myself of that more.
  • change (and growth) is good! Happy new year.
