So, I’ve moved.
After months of thinking about it, I finally decided to take the plunge and move to a dot com. As you see, I’ve sort of let go of the blog title, “The Prisoner’s Wife,” not because that part of my life has changed, but because it’s not ALL that I am. I wanted and needed a space that spoke to ALL of me (blame the Gemini in me for the need for change).
As you may notice, I’m still tweaking this site a little. I ‘m working out a few kinks with missing comments, and I’m still adjusting the sidebars to get them how I like, but there’s no sense in delaying the big reveal any longer. *Tadaa!* Tech maven Adria Richards held my hand through this entire process, and I really couldn’t have made the switch without her (if you want to move from blogger to wordpress, holla at her).
So what’s on the way, you ask? (or maybe not, but I’ll tell you anyway). More of the same. More posts about life, love, politics, poems, books. All the things you guys have come to love and expect from me. This week I’ll be featuring an interview I did with noted journalist and author Farai Chideya. I have been holding onto this interview (and another with author Carleen Brice) until I made the move. Well, the wait is over….it’s here.
Please let me know your thoughts on the site. Like I said before, I’m still tweaking it and if I can make it better for you, let me know.
be blessed y’all.
